Great Pumpkin Day at Clean Greens

The leaves are changing color, the sun is setting earlier, the air is getting crisper and there are pumpkins in the field on the Clean Greens Farm. On Saturday, October 17th, we're planning on a big pumpkin day. Come out to the farm in the morning and help pick pumpkins. If you've got a truck or other vehicle and can help haul them back to the city, we'd be grateful for the help. There will be people out on the farm by around 9am, so come on by anytime after that.

If you just don't have time for a relaxing trip to the country, come on over to the Clean Greens market at 116 21st Ave. We'll have pesticide-free pumpkins at great prices. Saturday will be the big day for pumpkins, though we'll also have some at the Friday market.

You can also get fresh corn, squash, kale, collards, cantaloupe, and watermelon. Mustard greens should be ready in the next couple of weeks. The market is open every Friday and Saturday from 10am - 3pm.
