Minutes 12-10-08
The advisory committee met today and attached are the notes from the meeting. The next steps from the meeting include:
Farm Meeting next Tuesday, December 16th at 4 PM at New Hope Baptist Church. This meeting is to formulate the work plan for this next season.
Business Plan and Grant Writing Meeting on Monday December 22 at 1 PM at New Hope Baptist Church. This meeting is to review and sign off on the narrative and numbers to be used for grants and our general business plan.
Follow up on crop loss. There is a chance to recover dollars from the USDA (US Department of Agriculture) for the loss of crops. Reverend Jeffrey offered to do this.
