Focus on Fundraising

Reviewing the funding discussions on the network forum made me think it’s time to subdivide and create a group focused on funding. I distilled three general areas related to funding:

1. Preparation – by preparation I mean putting together all the materials needed to satisfy any potential funder. This includes the Business Plan with an Executive Summary and a Budget and Forecast, azs well as Annual Reports

2. Wish/Offer List of Unmet Needs – we should keep a list of all unmet needs so someone can join the group and quickly see what’s needed and wanted. The list can also contain items offered by contributors. Here in the fundraising group we have a summarized list we also have a wish list in the market group and the farm group. Even though it's redundant it's more likely that it will be seen by people who can help.

3. Opportunities -- these are specific sources of grants, donations contributions, scholarships, etc.identifying, evaluating, and realizing opportunities is another core activity for this group.

There is a comment wall below that anyone can post to. We can have discussions here about specific opportunities and continue to update the wish list. Please don't be shy!
