From the Director's Desk

Hello Beautiful People!

I’m honored to have this opportunity to send out a few words to you today as we come together to plant some seeds for a healthy future harvest! And it is my privilege to have this opportunity to work with Reverend Jeffrey and all of you as we move toward a more Earth friendly and sustainable way of living.

What we are doing here is nothing new! In fact it is ancient, and we are so fortunate to have Elders and people around us who carry the stories full of Earth Wisdom that have been handed down from generation to generation so that we might have a chance to pick it up again and utilize them so that we can remember how to reconnect to Earth, our Mother and All of Our Relations. In fact, hundreds of millions of our brothers and sisters died in resistance to unnatural and unsustainable systems just so that we might have this ancient wisdom available to us today!

So, it is our duty to carry forward with what they have brought us. To carry on the work of our leaders, like Dr. King, Chief Seattle and Mahatma Gandhi, so that they will not have died in vain.

And that is exactly what the Clean Greens Farm and Market is all about. Recreating and reestablishing alternative ways of living sustainably in peace with Earth our Mother, and all of her children, as we honor her on this Mother’s Day with a Mother’s day planting, Saturday, May 9!
